Chef William Harissa Seasoning is perfect for adding to North African staples as well as many other dishes to add a sharp hot element to a dish. Perfect for adding a new flavourful dimension to whatever you're cooking.
It is such an important and ingrained ingredient that it gets UNESCO heritage status.
It’s versatility and adaptability means that it has many uses, for example as a poultry marinade or on steak or tofu, on seafood and as a dip. It can be used as a glaze, stirred into sauces or yoghurt or a base for stews or curries and it can even live up bloody Mary’s. It’s also excellent when added to meatball or burger mixtures.
As may be expected, there are numerous variations on the theme…including rose harissa, cherry harissa, apricot or pomegranate harissas as well as a milder version using the tamer green chillies.
