Chef William Creole Seasoning is a spicy hot blend of traditional spices with a big flavourful kick. Used in soups, marinades and classic Creole dishes it has all the key characters of Creole cuisine and is perfect for spicing up seafood and adding bags of colour and flavour to your dishes.
The spices are similar to what was used in West African and West Indian cuisine and as the blend evolved it gradually became incorporated into southern cooking techniques and traditions, particularly the use of smoked paprika and cayenne pepper for the added warmth and depth.
It’s a great versatility lends itself to numerous other culinary applications, for example when used to season chicken parts before grilling, frying or baking. It is perfect when used with prawn or crab dishes, great as a rub on pork chops and also on steaks and burgers enriching any protein with bold, herbaceous flavours
